New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is getting ready for a massive nationwide outreach drive, and its founder Abhijeet Dipke said that the organization will commence its ‘Kya Bolti Public’ campaign in September. The campaign will aim to spread awareness about the issues facing the populace in India, which will include one of the biggest among them, unemployment.
Dipke announced it at the CJP’s nucleus team meeting that took place in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra over the last two days. The campaign will go straight to the general public around the country and seek to find out their opinions, expectations and issues in the day-to-day life,” he explained.
Unemployment to Become a Nationwide Issue
One of the main issues CJP hopes will be raised through the campaign will be unemployment, Dipke said. He said that it is the organisation’s aim to thrust unemployment into the national discourse and raise the concerns of youths.
Educational development will also continue to be a strong emphasis. An appeal for higher education to cut expenses and education reforms to start at school level. He had challenged the very idea that it would be a great business to be one of the providers of education.
The campaign will likely provide CJP with a chance to interface directly with students, job seekers, the young professionals, and other segments of the society. It is aim, says the organisation, to find out people’s opinions on the present situation in the country, and what problems they would like solved.
Dipke Says Youth Issues Need More Attention
As young people in India have been a priority of Dipke’s. He said a majority in India’s population is under 35 and their issues should be given more focus in the discourse for the Nation.
The notification follows the protest by CJP at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi against the leak of NEET paper and other issues related to the exam. Former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his office due to the student movement, but that is a tall claim by Dipke who describes the resignation as his greatest accomplishment.
CJP Plans to Remain a Pressure Group
Although it was a nationwide initiative, Dipke has stated that CJP will not monumentarily transform into a conventional electoral political party. The organisation has also mentioned issues such as education reforms, social justice, and reviving trust in the media by the general public.
The upcoming ‘Kya Bolti Public’ campaign might thus turn out to be CJP’s largest nationwide outreach efforts ever. In leading the debate on unemployment right to the people, Abhijeet Dipke hopes to create a larger public movement on issues concerning the youth of India.
Will the reach of CJP be broad enough, and will the demands that will be generated in the process of an open-ended campaign continue to put the pressure on policymakers, will remain to be seen.
