According to crypto market data, XRP has lost momentum after failing to sustain its gains beyond the $2 mark earlier in December 2025. Analysts have noticed that once the crucial support levels give way, many investors choose to sell their shares for the short term.
The pullback comes at a time when there seem to be no positive triggers in sight, with almost no regulatory clarity or broader institutional adoption. Traders have appeared to lock in their profits, leading to increased volatility in the market.
There seems to be no end in sight for XRP, as the prices have nosedived for the entire month raising questions about Ripple’s ability to stop its decline.
In July 2025, Ripple saw its value reach an all-time high of the year at $3.55, boosted by renewed interest in the altcoin.
In the last week of 2025, selling has accelerated, with volumes sold reaching about 68 million XRP, with volumes continue to remain high.
Though analysts are pinning their hopes on positive ETF follows, XRP prices are expected to remain vulnerable unless Bitcoin prices regain momentum.
