New Delhi: Microsoft has recently released the appointment of Aparna Gupta as the new leader of its Global Delivery Center (GDC), a strategic move that underscores the company’s commitment to customer innovation and delivery excellence. In an official statement, Microsoft highlighted that the GDC serves as the delivery arm of Industry Solutions Delivery, originating in Hyderabad in 2005 and subsequently expanding its footprint to include two more locations: Bangalore and Noida.
The GDC boasts four Centers of Excellence (CoE) that focus on app innovation, data and Artificial Intelligence, infrastructure and security, and business applications. Additionally, the centre encompasses critical functions such as partner and delivery management, as well as adoption management.
Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India and South Asia, expressed enthusiasm about Aparna Gupta’s elevation to the lead role at GDC, emphasizing her extensive experience and profound knowledge of Microsoft technologies. Chandok anticipates that Gupta’s leadership will prove instrumental in enabling customers to plan and deploy cutting-edge solutions, particularly in the era of artificial intelligence, ultimately maximizing the value of their investments in Microsoft.
Maureen Costello, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing Gupta’s more than 25 years of industry expertise and her ambitious and unwavering leadership. Costello expressed confidence in Gupta’s ability to guide the GDC team to continued success.
