New Delhi: Adani Infrastructure India has recently appointed Bimal Dayal, who currently serves as the Chief of Transmission Business at Adani Energy Solutions (AESL), as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In his new role, Dayal will be tasked with overseeing the execution of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, including those focused on thermal, renewable energy, and green hydrogen. This strategic move is part of Adani’s broader vision for aggressive growth, emphasizing a significant annual growth rate of over 15 percent in its infrastructure business.
To facilitate this growth, the existing management team of AESL, under the leadership of Anil Sardana as Managing Director and Kandarp Patel, who has taken charge of all verticals within AESL, will spearhead the expansion of transmission, distribution, and smart meter segments. The leadership transition has received official approval from the AESL board of directors.
This decision is aligned with Adani’s recent commitment to invest over Rs 7 lakh crore over the next decade, aiming to solidify its position as the foremost infrastructure player in India. AESL, as part of the Adani portfolio, operates as a multi-dimensional organization involved in power transmission, distribution, smart metering, and cooling solutions, boasting an impressive cumulative transmission network covering 20,000 circuit km.
