New Delhi: V-Guard Industries (V-Guard) will acquire 100% stake in the Sunflame Enterprise, a kitchen appliance company for a deal pegged at Rs 660 crores on a debt-free and cash-free basis. This definitive agreement was signed today that is on 9th of december 2022.
The deal will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. This acquisition is in line with V-Guard’s strategy to become a important player in the domestic kitchen appliances segment. SEPL has a pan-India presence operating under its Sunflame brand. By mid January 2023 the deal is expected to close. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India, Singhi Advisors and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas provided financial, legal and transaction advisory services to the V-Guard company.
