Sweet Tooth launches campaign to celebrate Father’s Day

Mumbai: Most dads remain rather unfamiliar with technology, and we can see that in the way they capture everyday moments. Instead of waiting to capture for the right moment, they are responsible for blurry, tilted, cropped at odd angles or interrupted photos with fingers over the lens. Though we may try to correct them, these photos do remind us of our dads and their idiosyncrasies.

This Father’s day, bakery brand Sweet Truth celebrates this with a campaign that showcases our dad’s and their unique way of capturing life’s most precious moments. Through their ‘Shot on PaPhone’ campaign, it shines a light on the photo galleries of fathers everywhere, showcasing their collections of photos of candid memories, milestones, celebrations and everyday moments.

Sweet Truth is inviting people to revisit their dad’s phone galleries and share similar candid photographs. The brand is also looking to feature selected entries on their social media platforms, bring these personal stories and treasured moments to a wider audience.

“Dads are often the most enthusiastic photographers in the family, but rarely the most polished ones. Their pictures may be blurry, tilted, poorly framed, or miss the perfect lighting altogether, but they never miss the moment that matters. A birthday candle being blown out, a graduation smile, a family gathering, or a simple everyday celebration dads capture memories exactly as they happen. With ‘Shot on PaPhone’, we wanted to celebrate these imperfect yet priceless photographs that sit quietly in every dad’s camera roll. This campaign is our way of acknowledging that while the pictures may not be perfect, the love and intent behind every click certainly is.” Nishant Kedia, CMO at Rebel Foods, the company behind Sweet Truth, said.

I’ve always had a fascination with storytelling. Analyzing diverse perspectives and helping people understanding them simply is my life’s motto. I live to create stories that you’d love to read. When I’m not writing, you'll find me having a leisurely stroll on the beach or in the park.
