Gurugram: Google India is significantly increasing its presence in the National Capital Region by signing another lease for a new 6.17 lakh sq ft office in Gurugram. According to the property transaction documents from Propstack, Google has signed a 5 year lease at Atrium Place, Sector 39 in Gurugram for a monthly rent of about ₹10.55 crore.
The lease rate for the transaction comes to about ₹171 per square foot, with the company depositing about ₹63.65 crore as security. According to the rent documents, the lease includes a 15% escalation every three years. The lease, which commenced on October 1, 2025 covers floors 2 to 16 in Tower 1 of Atrium Place, a development by Delhi based property giant DLF and venture capital firm Hines.
Over a period of five years, the search engine giant is expected to pay about ₹ 671 crore for the office, after it signed another lease in 2025 for 550,000 sq ft of office space from workspace provider TableSpace and has also renewed its 870,000 sq ft office lease in East Bengaluru’s Doddanekkundi for a rental commitment of ₹90 crore.
With this, Google now has five offices in India at Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Gurugram where the search giant houses employees working on leading roles in engineering, research and development and product development. Google’s Ananta campus in Bengaluru remains its largest outside of the United States with a floor space of 1.6 million sq ft.
