Uttar Pradesh gradually turns out to be one of the fastest developing startup centers in India

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh, which is the most populated state of India, is slowly transforming itself into a huge startup hub. During several years, such cities as Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi dominated the startup sphere. However, in the present times, cities such as Noida, Lucknow, Kanpur and Gorakhpur are expanding at a very high rate and they are becoming the destination of youthful entrepreneurs.

Government support is one of the largest causes of this increase. UP has made numerous startup-friendly policies such as financial assistance, incubation centres, and mentorship programs. These processes provide the new founders ease in testing, launching and expanding their ideas. Noida in particular has turned into the place of technological startups, financial technologies, and online shopping brands.

The other reason is the access to talented talent. As there are numerous colleges, engineering, and universities in the state, young people are opting to venture into their own businesses rather than going out to seek employment. This is also getting the attention of the investors, and they have begun investing in UP based startups with increased confidence.

It is argued that because of the high population, startups have a huge number of customers in UP. Whether it is health-tech, food delivery, or education apps, businesses can run their ideas through a massive number of people. UP small towns are also taking a massive interest in digital services, something that aids the new startups in expanding at a higher pace.
