Employees complained of poor remuneration and insecurity at work. A lot of people said that the word Insta Maids was disrespectful and demeaning. The demonstrations began both online and offline.
Labour unions insisted on higher salaries and decent treatment. Urban Company replied that it would take feedback into consideration and introduce better policies.
