TiE opens 3 new chapters in Andhra Pradesh to help local startups grow

New Delhi: TiE is one of the world’s largest networks to help startups scale up, and the organization has opened three new chapters in Andhra Pradesh. The new chapters are in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati, and are expected to provide immense support to young business founders from the region.

For many years, TiE has been helping startups grow through mentorship, networking, events, and access to investors. More recently, these new chapters will build upon the organization’s objective of reaching early-stage entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh who have limited access to expert guidance and industry connections.

The chapters will host workshops, boot camps, startup competitions, and mentoring sessions on a regular basis. Young founders will learn how to pitch ideas, raise funds, manage a team, and build what customers actually want. A number of business leaders from across India will join the sessions as mentors.

Another objective is to inspire more college students to become entrepreneurs rather than just seek jobs. The TiE chapters will collaborate with universities in conducting hackathons and innovation challenges. Students with good ideas can receive guidance on how to convert those ideas into real-life startups.

Andhra Pradesh is transforming into a growing hub for startups, especially in the fields of agriculture technology, logistics, electronics, and clean energy. With the support of TiE, many more young entrepreneurs may get the chance to take their ideas to the next level.

Investors too are interested because a structured startup ecosystem gives them confidence. With TiE’s global presence in over 60 cities, the AP chapters will also help local startups connect with international mentors and markets.
