There are reports that Tesla’s cheaper Model 3 costs around USD 35,000 and if we convert it into Indian currency then Tesla’s cheaper Model 3 costs us around Rs 30.4 lakh and if we reduce the import duty by around 15 to 20 percent then this car will cost around if we do additionally road tax and insurance then this Tesla’s cheaper Model 3 cost us around USD 40,000 then if we convert it in India then around Rs 30-40 lakhs which is cost even more in India including the road tax and insurance. Tesla’s cheaper Model 3 is much higher around 15 to 20 percent if we compare it to domestic EV cars like the Mahindra XEV 9e, Hyundai e-Creata, and Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, additionally, we say that this cost much if we buy this car in the Indian market and by this will disrupt the Indian Car market significantly.
Even if Tesla decides to enter with them model price of around 25 lakh on the road price and gain market if we take a look at the market Mahindra & Mahindra stock has been very less recently they are recovering soon and the market cap is low if see the stock of the Mahindra. Now Tesla is coming in a few months they have started hiring in India for their showroom and they have started hiring people in India through LinkedIn and some interviews and they want people to maintain the showroom soon if they start manufacturing. They will start selling their cars in Delhi and Mumbai first then will expand their franchise around India by this they have started their hiring in Mumbai also for the showroom they want to know about the actual employees for their showroom.
