Mumbai, August 31, 2026: Tempsens Instruments (India) Ltd is set to be included in the Nifty IPO Index, marking an important development for the company following its market listing.
NSE Indices Limited has announced that its Index Maintenance Sub-Committee (Equity) has approved the inclusion of Tempsens Instruments (India) Ltd, which trades under the symbol TEMPSENS, in the Nifty IPO Index.
The change will take effect from September 3, 2026, after the market closes on September 2. The company will be added to the index without removing any existing company from it.
The Nifty IPO Index tracks companies that have recently entered the stock market through initial public offerings (IPOs). Inclusion in such an index can bring greater visibility to a listed company among investors and market participants.
For Tempsens Instruments, the inclusion comes as the company continues its journey as a publicly listed business. The move also puts the company among the stocks being tracked under NSE’s IPO-focused index.
What the Inclusion Means
Index inclusion is an important event for a listed company as it increases its presence within the market’s index ecosystem. Stocks included in widely followed indices can attract greater attention from institutional investors, fund managers and other market participants.
However, being included in an index does not automatically mean that a company’s share price will rise. Market performance continues to depend on several factors, including business performance, financial results, investor sentiment and broader market conditions.
