Mumbai, September 26: Solar energy systems manufacturer Swelect Energy Systems Limited has announced the launch of its new SWEES-EN range of solar hybrid inverters. Specifically tailored for the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) segment, these high-efficiency inverters offer integrated energy storage and power management solutions aimed at addressing the challenges faced in ensuring a reliable and consistent supply of renewable energy.
The SWEES-EN series covers a power range from 5 kW to 50 kW, making it suitable for small businesses and mid-sized industrial sites. These hybrid inverters connect solar power, battery storage, and the grid, helping to keep power running smoothly. By making the most of solar energy, they help reduce dependence on traditional grids and cut operational costs.
Swelect has confirmed that the SWEES-EN range has received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, paving the way for launching these products for the markets in the second quarter of the financial year 2027.
The launch of SWEES-EN comes at a time when power infrastructure has now moved to energy storage, given the large capacities of renewable power generated.
For Swelect, this expansion allows it to move beyond the high volume, low margin PV module manfaucturing sector towards a more integrated approach for smart clean tech solutions. The rollout will allow the company to capture higher margin, sticky accounts within the commercial and industrial sector.
