Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized a special session ‘Shark Tank: Surat Ke Sitare’ at Samhati, Sarsana, Surat. Startup founders from Surat who have made Surat famous on platforms like Shark Tank India at the national level participated in this program.
SGCCI stated that these young stars have given national recognition to local ideas by making their dreams come true.
Anand Nahar, co-founder of ZORKO, which quickly set up more than 400 outlets in 175 cities of 24 states of the country in fast food-vegetarian, said that during Covid, we started with Vesu and started giving franchises. If you want to hire good people, you have to give a good package. Along with machinery, you also have to spend manpower. He gave guidance on how to create a scalable consumer brand.
Yash Tarwadi, who started solar startup Solans Energy, a chemical engineer by origin and sensitive to issues like climate change, said that scalability is the most important vertical of a startup. Return on investment is important, we started the app and tied up with brands.
Anurag Sundaraka, who started Zebra Learn Edu Tech Startup in Satellite Area, first talked about how he turned the first failure of the book into success. Even though we provide books, visual first is our priority. We emphasize on quality in education. We want to provide a visual first version of the books read in the coming years.
SGCCI’s Kamlesh Gajera made a presentation on the rise of Surat entrepreneurs on a national platform. The second phase of the program was an interactive panel discussion and question and answer session, which was moderated by Entrepreneur Development Committee Chairman Rakesh Doshi.
The three speakers talked about various challenges and guided them towards success.
