New Delhi, September 14: Satin Creditcare Network Limited’s (SCNL) investment arm Satin Growth Alternatives Limited (SGAL) has made its first investment in edible oil maker Indic Wisdom, the company said in a regulatory filing. Founded by Prajakta and Kaustubh Khare, Indic Wisdom manufactures wood-pressed oil and value-added products from native Indian oilseeds. SGAL has invested ₹5 crore in the women-led venture, which will be used to expand its omnichannel presence and to scale up its manufacturing capacity over the next two years.
The investment is a combination of Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) and Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) as SGAL aims to work with the founders to make their products accessible across the country.
