Saboo Sodium Chloro to develop 150 key 5-star resort near Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Diversified Jaipur-based conglomerate Saboo Sodium Chloro Ltd (SSCL) has announced plans to develop a 150-key 5-star resort near Maharashtra’s Tadoba National Park. This is the company’s third land acquisition for 2025, as the company moves towards developing 5-star luxury resorts in Jawai and Udaipur as well.

According to an exchange filing, Saboo Sodium aims to develop the luxury resort in a location popular with wildlife tourists and nature enthusiasts. The resort will consist of 2 signature restaurants, a bar, multiple pools, an observation tower, nature walks, luxury conferencing spaces, recreational activities, a gymnasium, a kids zone and a private lake spread across 26 acres.

Construction is expected to commence after the company receives all requisite approvals. Discussions for the design, architecture and consulting services for the project is already underway.

The project, christened Samskara Tadoba, is expected to create employment for up to 250 people, with commissioning in 2027.

With upcoming resorts in Jawai and Udaipur boosting its capacity to 850 keys, SSCL aims to become one of India’s leading hospitality players. The company is also in talks to set up resorts in Jaisalmer, Achrol, Ranthambore and Jodhpur as well.

The shares of the company have jumped 10% following the news, they are currently trading at ₹15.05 a share. Over the past 5 years, its shares have risen 271.60%, attracting the interest of investors looking for small-cap stocks.
