New Delhi: Anant Ambani, director at Reliance, donated money on the organization’s behalf to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Overall, 111 persons lost their lives, and 45,650 families were affected by the Mukhya Mantri Rahat Kosh catastrophes in Uttarakhand this year. Reliance Director Anant Ambani made the donation on behalf of the firm.

35,400 of the families affected are located in the Haridwar district, and according to Agarwal, these people have received a total of Rs 18.97 crore. 301 crore rupees were granted to district magistrates to handle calamities in their jurisdictions. In addition, Rs 603,10 crore were approved for repairs in regions devastated by landslides. The government has set aside Rs 33.50 crore to help 150 people in Joshimath, which was severely affected by subsidence. 296 additional impacted households are housed in relief camps.
Anant previously gave Rs 5 crore to the Chardham Devasthanam Board in October 2020 to assist it in coping with the losses brought on by the COVID-19 lockout.
The Reliance Foundation had also given the state’s disaster management body an additional Rs 5 crore in 2021 for COVID-19 relief efforts.
