New Delhi: During his acceptance speech at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards, Ranbir Kapoor graciously shared insights into his life goals and the advice he received from Mukesh Ambani. The esteemed actor, honored with the Maharashtrian of the Year award, expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted three fundamental principles guiding his life.
Presented with the award by veteran actor Jeetendra, Ranbir Kapoor recounted Mukesh Ambani’s counsel, emphasizing the importance of humility amidst success. He conveyed in Hindi, “I have three fundamental goals in life. Firstly, to engage in meaningful endeavors with humility. Drawing inspiration from Mukesh bhai, who emphasized the significance of perseverance and humility, advising me to remain grounded despite achievements and resilient in the face of setbacks.”
Continuing, Ranbir Kapoor outlined his aspirations beyond his professional endeavors, expressing a desire to cultivate personal virtues. He articulated, “My second goal is to cultivate goodness within myself—to be a devoted son, a nurturing father, a supportive husband, a loyal brother, and a trusted friend. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, I aspire to be a responsible citizen. I take immense pride in my identity as a Mumbaikar, and accolades such as this hold profound significance for me.”
Beyond his heartfelt reflections, Ranbir Kapoor provided updates on his cinematic ventures, including his recent appearance in the 2023 hit film Animal and forthcoming projects such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, as well as his portrayal of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming Ramayana adaptation.
