New Delhi: Venkata Narayana K, the CEO of Prestige Estates Projects, has resigned from the company to pursue personal endeavours. His resignation, effective as of May 10, 2024, marks the end of a significant tenure spanning 20 years, during which he assumed various roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, before becoming CEO in August 2017. Although he will step down from his CEO position and board committees, he will continue as a non-key Managerial Personnel (KMP) until August 10, 2024, to ensure a seamless transition.
In his resignation letter, Venkata expressed his intention to explore other interests, notably establishing a Real Estate Fund. The board has accepted his resignation and outlined a strategic roadmap by appointing key executives to oversee different verticals and geographies within the company. Amit Mor has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while various business heads have been designated for each segment and region.
Under the continued leadership of Irfan Razack, Chairman & Managing Director, the company is committed to maintaining its position as a leading real estate developer across major cities in India. The newly appointed executives, including Swaroop Anish, Juggy Marwaha, Muhammed Ali, Suresh Singaravelu, Tariq Ahmed, Faiz Rezwan, Zayd Noaman, Zaid Sadiq, Omer Bin Jung, Uzma Irfan, and Sana Rezwan, will play crucial roles in executing the company’s growth strategy and ensuring continued success in the real estate sector, thereby ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the company’s stability.
