New Delhi: In terms of in-home FMCG, Parle Products retains its top position as the most preferred in-home FMCG brand for the 14th consecutive year, while Britannia continues to score points at the top position in the OOH FMCG segment of the latest report, ‘Brand Footprint India 2026’, issued by Worldpanel by Numerator.
The annual report provides a report of the most popular FMCG brands in India. It also takes Consumer Reach Points (CRPs) into consideration, which takes into account the actual number of consumers purchasing a brand and the frequency of their purchases.
Parle had 8,515 million CRPs in the in-home category while Britannia had 8,296 million CRPs. With such tremendous consumer exposure, it has become another year of good performance for Parle.
Meanwhile, Britannia, which led the out-of-home segment with 619 million CRPS, continued on top. The company has established a good reputation among the customers who buy FMCG products while traveling, working, eating outside the home and spending time outside of home.
Other important changes in the other FMCG brands are also pointed out in the report. Amul jumped in the top five in the out of home category for the first time after moving up from the sixth position. Balaji jumped into the top 10 in the in-home rankings from 11th position with 2,876 million CRPs. Lay’s and Bingo also moved up in the out of home top 10.
Consumer Reach Points across the FMCG industry grew 5.1% in 2025, from 123 to 129 billion points respectively. The Food and Dairy sector saw a weaker increase compared to last year, while all other FMCG sectors expanded.
As seen in the latest rankings, established brands like Parle and Britannia still enjoy dominance in Indian consumers’ minds. Prior to this, Amul and Balaji have emerged as successful brands in the FMCG segment, which is also highly competitive, and consumers are now continuing to carve out space for both their local and regional counterparts.
