Surat: After a long break, the NG brand is back in action. Entrepreneur Sudhir Goyal has officially launched NG Mall in the city, marking a fresh start for the business with a clear focus on social work.
NG Mall is now operational in Surat and is already drawing attention in the local market. The brand, which earlier gained popularity through NG Lehenga, had slowed down during the COVID-19 period. With this relaunch, the company is looking to rebuild its presence in the retail and fashion space.
The key highlight of this project is its charity-driven model. Around 60% of the total profit from NG Mall will be used for social welfare activities. For this, ‘NG Seva Trust’ has been formed to manage and execute these initiatives.
In the first phase, the trust will provide financial support to patients who cannot afford treatment. Help will be given to needy patients in government hospitals like SMIMER Hospital and Civil Hospital Surat. The aim is to ensure that lack of money does not stop anyone from getting proper medical care.
The long-term plan of the trust includes setting up a 7-star hospital where poor patients will get completely free treatment and medicines. This facility is planned to be accessible without any complex procedures or requirement of government cards.
As per the business structure, Sudhir Goyal holds a 60% stake in the venture, while his wife holds 40%. Importantly, his share of earnings will be fully used for charity through the trust.
With NG Mall now open, the project is expected to add momentum to Surat’s retail sector while also creating direct social impact through its charity model.
