Mumbai: Business leader Mukesh Ambani believes India’s next phase of growth will be driven by technology, digital services, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing. Speaking about India’s future opportunities, Ambani highlighted how the country is rapidly becoming one of the world’s most important digital economies.
India currently has more than 950 million internet users, making it one of the largest online markets globally. Digital payments have also seen explosive growth, with UPI transactions crossing billions every month. According to industry estimates, India’s digital economy could contribute nearly 20% of the country’s GDP by the end of this decade.
Ambani has repeatedly emphasized the importance of AI, data infrastructure, and affordable connectivity. Through investments in telecom, cloud services, and digital platforms, Reliance aims to support India’s growing demand for technology solutions.
Experts believe India’s young population is a major advantage. Nearly 65% of Indians are under the age of 35, creating a strong workforce and consumer base. Rising smartphone adoption and internet access are also helping businesses reach customers in smaller cities and rural areas.
