New Delhi: India’s primary market is heading into a busy week, with as many as 11 mainboard and five SME public issues lined up to open, together targeting around ₹7,200 crore. The heavy IPO calendar comes ahead of an even larger expected offering from the National Stock Exchange (NSE), which is estimated to raise around ₹30,000 crore.
The pipeline is expected to remain active in the weeks ahead, with another major IPO from Jio Platforms reportedly looking to raise about ₹37,000 crore. The developments point to a packed primary-market schedule as several companies prepare to tap public markets.
The current activity also follows Hyundai Motors India’s ₹27,800 crore IPO, which closed in late 2024 and was described as the largest IPO in India at that time.
Rentomojo Leads the Week’s IPO Activity
Among the issues opening during the current week, Rentomojo is set to be one of the key offerings. The company is looking to raise around ₹1,256 crore, comprising a fresh issue of ₹150 crore and an offer for sale of approximately ₹1,106 crore.
According to data from the public offer analytics platform Chittorgarh, the Rentomojo IPO is scheduled to open on September 9 and close on September 11.
The same three-day subscription window will also see Asset Reconstruction Company (India), or ARCIL, enter the market. ARCIL is seeking to raise approximately ₹733 crore through its public issue.
The company has been described as the first asset reconstruction company to be set up in India.
More IPOs Scheduled Through the Week
The IPO calendar began with the ₹515 crore Pranav Constructions issue, which is scheduled to close on Wednesday.
Three additional offers are also set to open during the week. These include Glass Wall Systems, with an issue size of ₹428 crore, Prasol Chemicals, which is targeting ₹500 crore, and Kanohar Electricals, with a ₹1,056 crore offering. These three IPOs are scheduled to open on September 8 and close on September 10.
The lineup will expand further with Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions, which is targeting ₹805 crore, while Steamhouse India is looking to raise ₹414 crore.
LCC Projects has an issue size of ₹427 crore, and Karamtara Engineering is targeting ₹875 crore through its public offering.
Primary Market Calendar Remains Packed
The current IPO schedule also includes offers from Purple Style Labs, Rays of Belief and Deepa Jewellers, adding to the number of companies seeking access to the public markets during the week.
The concentration of issues across several days makes the current IPO calendar notably active. Companies from sectors including construction, chemicals, electrical equipment, payments and identity solutions, engineering and jewellery are represented in the pipeline.
At the same time, the expected NSE IPO later in September could add another large offering to an already busy primary-market calendar. The potential Jio Platforms issue could further increase the scale of fundraising activity in the weeks that follow.
For the primary market, the coming days are therefore set to feature a broad mix of mainboard and SME offerings, with several issues opening and closing within overlapping subscription windows.
The crowded calendar also reflects the continuing role of IPOs as a route for companies and existing shareholders to access public markets. With multiple offerings scheduled within a short period, September is emerging as a particularly active month for India’s IPO market.
