India’s Deep-Tech Market Could Reach $30 Billion by 2030

New Delhi: Slowly but surely, India is rising as a deep technology leader in fields like robotics, Artificial Intelligence, defense innovation, and energy technology. According to estimates, India’s deep tech market could achieve roughly $30 billion by 2030.

Deep-tech industries apply science and engineering to real problem-solving, such as developing robots that will be able to assist in factories or applying AI to improve the quality of the country’s defense systems. India has thus seen tremendous growth in recent years in startups and research with these technologies. The government is investing in programs that promote robotics and machine learning.

One big reason for this growth is the cost advantage that India has. Making a robot in India would cost much less compared to any other country, like the US or Japan. That would give Indian companies the opportunity to export the technology at affordable rates. Additionally, many Indian engineers and students have already learned about AI and computer science, giving their country an edge in the global market.

By 2030, India might emerge as one of the most trustworthy advanced technology hubs outside of China. This will open not only new job opportunities for engineers and scientists but also improve India’s standing both in the global defence and tech industries.
