India and Arab Business Chambers Join Hands to Boost Trade and Investment

New Delhi: Two prominent trade chambers have joined forces to promote India and Arab world cooperation in trade, investment and industry, taking another step towards advancing the economic ties between the two regions.

India and Arab countries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (IACCIA) and the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) to strengthen business relations between India and the 22 Arab countries.

The partnership will look to building more opportunities for companies, investors and entrepreneurs on both sides. It is expected to help to develop better business ties, facilitate investment and cooperate between various industries.

The deal is expected to be beneficial for India, which is seeking to expand its economic footprint in global markets and cultivate trade ties with important regions. The countries of the Arab world are significant partners for India in the fields of energy, infrastructure, food, technology, logistics and manufacturing and investment.

IACCIA and ASSOCHAM are expected to assist companies to see opportunities for investment and link Indian businesses to companies and investors in Arab countries through this new partnership. It is also possible to hold business meetings, trade events, industry discussion and delegation visits in the chambers.
