New Delhi: A new issue is plaguing Indian startup founders and making them slower in growth. It is now very hard to recruit good employees. According to many founders, now experienced workers demand very high wages, working flexibility, and rapid promotions. To young startups who have little money, it is not easy to meet such demands.
Previously, lots of individuals were enrolled in startups to study and develop. At this point, job seekers compare startups to big tech firms. They desire the same pay, employment and perks. It has put some pressure on founders and particularly those operating early stage companies.
Others of the founders have even said that they had to postpone projects due to the inability to recruit the suitable individuals at reasonable wages. Others claimed that they had hired fast and found it difficult to cope with high costs. This is a more critical issue with technical positions such as AI, data science and product management.
Startups have to think differently now according to experts. They ought to concentrate on small but strong teams rather than oversaturating on the number of people hired. It is also becoming trendy to re-train fresh graduates. Most of the startups are joining colleges in order to identify young talent at an early age.
