New Delhi: Google for Startups India has introduced a new program called Prompt to Prototype, designed specially to support AI founders who have strong ideas but need guidance and tools to turn those ideas into working products. As India is becoming one of the world’s fastest-growing AI hubs, this move is expected to help hundreds of early-stage entrepreneurs.
The program focuses on helping founders build prototypes quickly using Google’s AI tools, cloud services, and expert guidance. Many young founders often struggle with the first step of product development because they do not have enough technical support or proper mentorship. Google aims to fill that gap.
Under Prompt to Prototype, selected founders will get access to AI labs, hands-on workshops, and one-on-one sessions with engineers and business mentors. They will also learn how to design AI systems responsibly, making sure their products are safe, fair, and transparent.
India already has thousands of AI-based startups working in areas like healthcare, agriculture, education, finance, and logistics. But a lot of them get stuck in the early stages because they cannot build their first working model fast enough. This program hopes to change that by speeding up the development process from an idea to a workable demo.
Industry experts believe this move will help India grow more AI-based products for global markets. With AI becoming essential in almost every field, programs like this are important to build a strong innovation ecosystem.
