New Delhi: Gautam Adani has launched the ‘Vande Bharatam’ initiative, a nationwide program aimed at identifying and supporting promising entrepreneurs from across India. The initiative focuses on encouraging innovation, helping startups scale their businesses, and creating opportunities in both urban and rural regions.
India is now the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem, with over 1.7 lakh startups officially recognised by the government. Through this initiative, aspiring founders will receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and guidance from experienced industry leaders.
The program is expected to encourage entrepreneurs working in sectors such as clean energy, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, healthcare, and technology. Industry observers believe that providing access to experienced mentors and business networks can significantly improve the success rate of early-stage startups.
Experts also note that India’s growing digital economy, improving infrastructure, and supportive government policies have created the right environment for entrepreneurship. Initiatives like ‘Vande Bharatam’ aim to identify innovative ideas from smaller cities and towns, helping them reach national and global markets while contributing to employment generation and economic growth.
