The brand unveiled one high-speed scooter, one low-speed scooter and one prototype motorcycle.
Noida, December 27: Growing environment-friendly Electric vehicle company GT-Force, exhibited three electric two-wheelers – GT Drive, GT Drive Pro, and Electric Motorcycle prototype, at the EV India Expo 2021 held at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. The start-up EV manufacturer presented an incredible lineup of high-end EV products flaunting a quirky style and sophisticated technology.
GT Drive –The e-scooter unveiled by GT-Force in the high-speed category is an addition to the GT Drive lineup by the brand. It clocks a top speed of 60 kmph and an impressive range of 150kms on a single charge. The product is available in Lithium-ion batteries and comes with three drive modes- economy, standard and turbo. The scooter also comes with a cruise control system.
GT Drive Pro – The e-scooter in the slow speed category aims to serve short-distance travel needs. The product is designed to sync with the requirements of families, women and children. It easily covers a distance of 75kms on a single charge and offers a top speed of 25 kmph. The product is available in LEAD acid and Lithium-ion battery versions.
Mr. Mukesh Taneja, CO-Founder & CEO, GT-Force, affirmed that “People are having the misconception that EVs might not be able to meet long-distance travel requirements, or maybe they are inconvenient. All this is just because they have not tried the product yet. Therefore, we are working hard towards making the product available in every nook and corner of the country. The team has put in lots of efforts towards widening the distributors’ network connecting with a larger audience.”
Commenting on the unveiling, Mr. Rajesh Saitya- CO-Founder & COO, GT-Force, said, “India is gradually moving towards EV from ICE. We are playing our role by offering quality products that are also affordable to the users. The idea is to join the larger national ambition. The end-user must get familiar with the EV technology. We are expanding our product line to address the travel challenges of people one by one. Our slow speed products can easily cater to short-distance daily travel of children, women and families. Once the EVs become accessible, people will start opting for them. It is only after getting familiar and comfortable with the technology that they will be able to make the informed decision of ICE to EV switch.”
Additionally, the brand has also unveiled the prototype of its first electric motorcycle to the audience at the expo. The motorbike is expected to be launched in the market in the second half of 2022.
GT-Force has already expanded its distributors’ network to 80 cities across the country with 100+ dealerships. Currently, it holds a strong presence in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. It aims at expanding its network to 150+ distributors at least by the end of the current financial year. The brand already has 07 products available in the market for end-users.
