New Delhi: Charging infrastructure major Exicom launched Exicom One, an integrated, end to end EV charging solution aimed to simplify deployment and accelerate electric vehicle adoption across India. Exicom One brings together software, hardware and other services into a single turnkey platform, aimed to assist fleet owners, real estate developers, and enterprise clients adopt the technology.
Exicom One offers an all in one solution, combining EV chargers, cloud based charging management software and energy management systems under one umbrella. It is aimed at addressing key bottlenecks in India’s emerging EV ecosystem, with fragmented infrastructure and high integration costs being primary concerns.
“India’s EV story will only move as fast as the infrastructure behind it,” Anant Nahata, Managing Director and CEO, Exicom said in a press release. “While hardware innovation gets most of the attention, it is execution on the ground that truly defines success. Exicom One is built to remove that friction by bringing every piece of the puzzle together under one accountable partner. It is a smarter, faster way for CPOs and fleets to scale with confidence and focus on what really matters: delivering reliable charging experiences.”
The launch comes at a time when India’s EV market is growing with the support of government incentives, though range anxiety and low resale value continue to force many to opt for petrol-based cars.
Exicom aims to launch this service alongside customer traffic points and highway corridors, offering easy and fast charging to retail EV car owners as well.
