New Delhi: DLF Ltd has announced the launch of its first senior living residential project in Gurugram worth ₹2,000 crore, after almost 3 months of not announcing any new projects. To be developed in phases, the project will have an age-friendly design, community living and healthcare access, to meet the demand from India’s rapidly ageing high net worth retirees.
This comes after months of recording a steep fall in sales bookings to ₹419 crore in Q3FY26, from ₹12,039 crore reported a year ago. The company’s ultra luxury, 17 acre The Dahlias project at DLF Phase 5 in Gurugram has seen about 220 apartments sold for ₹15,716 crore, before the real estate firm paused bookings in Q3.
In an earnings conference call with analysts, the company’s MD, Ashok Tyagi, has expressed confidence of reaching its pre-sales target of ₹20,000-22,000 this quarter, especially as housing demand in Gurugram continues to remain strong.
Despite concerns from analysts about its slowing sales numbers, DLF beat estimates by recording a ₹1,207 net profit, on the back of stronger rental collections.
Besides the senior living project, DLF is also planning to launch new projects across markets like Gurugram, Mumbai, Panchkula and Goa, aiming to diversify its portfolio beyond Delhi NCR.
