Crompton grabs 445 crore Solar rooftop deal in Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi: The Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has received a very large project of 0.445 crore on solar rooftop in Andhra Pradesh. This is among the largest projects of the firm, as well as, a giant leap towards clean and green energy in India.

In this project, Crompton will place solar panels in over 40,000 state house roofs. Every house will receive a 2 kW solar system which will convert sunlight to electricity. This project will total approximately 77 megawatts that is an extremely large amount of power in home rooftops.
