Concord Control Systems in focus following its ₹139.32 Crore Railways Order

Lucknow: Embedded electronics system maker Concord Control Systems has secured a ₹139.32 crore contract from the Indian Railways, one of its largest to date. The contract involves the supply of wireless control system for locomotives, a critical technology aimed at enhancing locomotive operations. Awarded to Concord’s wholly owned subsidiary, Advanced Rail Controls Private Limited the content has an execution deadline for 18 months.

The Indian Railway’s infrastructure modernization drive offers Concord a variety of opportunities for delivering critical equipment designed in-house at its state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) facilities. Concord has been a trusted partner of the Railways, being one of the leading RDSO-approved Original equipment manufacturers for the railways. 

“This landmark order for locomotive wireless control systems marks a transformative step in modernizing Indian Railways. It reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology that enhances safety, efficiency, and reliability in rail operations, aligning perfectly with the nation’s infrastructure vision. We are proud to contribute to India’s rail transformation and look forward to executing this project with excellence.” Nitin Jain, Joint Managing Director of Concord Control Systems Limited, said in a press release to the bourses. 

Following the announcement, Concord’s shares rallied 5% in early trading hours on December 22.
