Greater Noida: Despite apprehensions regarding the feasibility of its Encora acquisition in December last year, Coforge has continued to deliver a strong financial performance. For the quarter ended March 2026, the company’s net profit reached ₹612.3 crore from ₹261.2 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenues from operations grew 30% to ₹4,450.4 crore from ₹3,422.2 crore a year ago.
The company has seen a record high intake of orders worth $1.75 billion for FY26, with revenues to be visible for the next 24 months. Despite a one-time rise in wages, the company maintained an EBITDA margin of 19%, as it managed to increase automation and AI-led efficiencies in project implementation. It has also gained from a one-time tax benefit.
Recent M&A deals
Coforge has been at the center of attention for its recent M&A deals, closing its Cigniti Technologies deal after an NCLAT resolution and its $2.5 billion acquisition of Silicon Valley-based AI firm Encora in April 2026.
These acquisitions are expected to help the company become a $2 billion revenue firm, with Cigniti’s expertise in digital assurance and Encora’s data, cloud and product engineering capabilities complementing Coforge’s core competencies.
“FY26 marked another year of exceptional performance for Coforge. We delivered strong YoY growth at 29.2% and expanded EBIT margins materially by 370 bps to 14.4%. With an order executable of $1.75Bn, we enter FY27 with strong momentum and confidence. We expect to deliver robust revenue growth in FY27 and plan to deliver an EBITDA of more than 20.5% on a consolidated basis in FY27.” Sudhir Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Coforge Ltd, said in a press release.
Coforge’s shares were trading at ₹1,286.80 at 3:00 PM on May 6.
