New Delhi: Keeping up with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Net Zero Carbon Emissions, today, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western UP organized The Green Hydrogen Summit at Delhi NCR. The Summit explored the latest trends, technologies, and strategies that are shaping the Green Hydrogen landscape in India and around the world. The Summit brought together industry experts and stakeholders who deliberated on facilitating the plan for the hydrogen-based ecosystem in the country. The mega event featured expert panel discussions & technical deliberations, pivoting around establishing a Green Hydrogen ecosystem.
In line with the ideology behind the Green Hydrogen Mission, launched by the Government of India, the Summit attempted to bring together the scientific & industrial community that focused on innovation-driven solutions built around facilitating the plan for the Hydrogen ecosystem.
The guest of honour at the Summit was Mr Mohit Bhargava, CEO of NTPC Green Energy Ltd. He deliberated on how the government is working towards creating an ecosystem conducive to the entire value chain of Green Hydrogen. He also mentioned that the energy transition is natural and is on us and concluded his speech by highlighting the fact that “Green is the way to go; there is no other option”. Mr Ravi Pandit, Group Chairman, KPIT Technologies & K& P Group, gave the keynote address. He emphasized the usage of biomass in the production of Green Hydrogen and mentioned that Green Hydrogen is a game-changer. With Indian Innovations & entrepreneurship, it has the capacity to make India completely independent of imports.
