Bengaluru: Centum Electronics Ltd announced its audited financial results for Q4 with a record 25.6% QoQ rise in revenue to ₹344 crores as the company worked to execute a strong order book for the year. This includes projects across its portfolio in the aerospace and defence manufacturing secto₹ In fact, its order book has risen 22.7% to ₹ 1,645 crore on a year-on-year basis.
Along with this, the company has declared a dividend of ₹ 5 per share following approval from the shareholde₹
Standalone Dominance vs. Foreign Subsidiary Drag
Despite this, Centum has recorded a net loss of ₹51.81 crore for FY26 on a consolidated level due to asset write-downs and legacy losses totaling ₹152.52 crore. The company has also discontinued its legacy losses from foreign operations, especially by winding down its Canadian subsidiary and by liquidating its French subsidiary, which is subject to a local court order scheduled for Q1FY27.
Key Structural Drivers and Growth Moat
Irrespective of this, Centum’s order book has been reinforced by high barrier wins, including massive system integration contracts from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for its advanced Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar architectures.
The company has also benefited from the Aatmanirbhar Bharat push, where it gets preferences for multi-year lucrative contracts.
