Capital Numbers acquires US-based Epitome Cloud for ₹40 crore to strengthen presence in enterprise transformation

Kolkata, August 25: Digital Engineering and technology services firm Capital Numbers Infotech Limited has agreed to acquire New Jersey-based Epitome Cloud Inc, in a deal valued at about ₹40 crore.

This acquisition aims to expand Capital Numbers’ footprint in North America and strengthen its service offerings across enterprise platform integration and digital transformation.  With an extensive specialization in Salesforce consulting, CLM, Revenue Cloud consulting and enterprise workflow patterns, Epitome Cloud will complement Capital Number’s expertise in digital engineering, cloud, data and AI capabilities.

“This acquisition is an important building block in our journey to become a more specialised and comprehensive global technology services company. Epitome Cloud brings deep expertise in Salesforce and enterprise platforms, while Capital Numbers brings strong capabilities across digital engineering, cloud, data and AI. Together, we can offer clients a much broader technology proposition and support increasingly complex transformation programmes. Our focus is not simply on adding another capability, but on creating a stronger platform for long term international growth.” Mukul Gupta, CEO, Capital Numbers, said in a press release.

For both companies, this acquisition is expected to help boost cross-selling across the client bases of both companies, with Capital Cloud’s clients gaining access to Epitome Cloud’s digital engineering, cloud and AI capabilities.

Beyond this, Capital Numbers can now undertake larger and highly integrated technology transformation mandates, besides expanding its international footprint.

“Capital Numbers is evolving from a broad digital engineering company into a more specialized global technology services company. We are strengthening our enterprise capabilities, moving closer to international customers, and using selective acquisitions to add technology expertise, client relationships, and market access that would otherwise take much longer to build organically,” Gupta adds.
