Bengaluru: Axiscades Technologies Limited’s subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, has secured a major supply order from Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to develop its Signal and Data Processing Units (SDPU), the company said in a press release. The order, valued at ₹100 crore, is aimed at supporting India’s prestigious LLTR (Low-Level Transportable Radar) Ashwini programme, developed by BEL and DRDO.
The contract includes providing the SDPU and associated spares over a two year period, with an aim to offer enhanced surveillance against UAVs, helicopters and fighter jets present in low altitudes. Mistral’s SDPU solutions have to meet extreme operational demands, especially for next-gen radar platforms.
“LLTR Ashwini programme win reflects Mistral’s continued commitment to supporting India’s defence indigenisation initiatives and contributing critical technologies to next generation military systems” Mr C. Manikandan, CEO, Mistral Solutions Private Limited, said.
Mistral Solutions aims to play a greater role in the expanding pipeline of indigenous defence electronics, through its embedded system services used in end-to-end solutions for complex radar solutions.
Axiscades Technologies acquired Mistral Solutions in December 2022, aiming to complement its end-to-end engineering and technology solutions. Axiscades Technologies’ share prices opened at ₹1,267.30 on January 19. Its shares have increased 64.88% in the past year.
