New Delhi: The stock prices of major tech companies like Amazon, Nvidia, and Tesla dropped sharply after Donald Trump announced new 100% tariffs on products from China. Because of this news, the world’s biggest tech companies together lost about $770 billion in value, the biggest one-day fall since April.
Investors got scared that these tariffs could make Chinese goods more expensive and increase costs for tech companies that depend on China for parts and production.
Along with other tech companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Tesla, Amazon, and Nvidia all saw stock price declines of about 5%.
Experts say this shows how sensitive the global market is to U.S.-China relations. If the trade tension continues, it could affect not just tech companies but also ordinary consumers who buy their products.
