New Delhi: Alliance Insurance Brokers has partnered with ride-hailing service Ola to provide insurance coverage to Ola’s national network of drivers. The partnership aims to offer insurance protection to almost 2 lakh Ola drivers who are insured on a daily basis while they are on duty. This initiative provides insurance coverage to drivers for unforeseen events such as accidents, hospitalisation expenses, including OPD expenses, income protection for viral infections and accidental hospitalisation, child education cover, and more. He said that preventive action could save the drivers many days of hospital stays and enable them to earn a consistent and predictable income. He added that they were protecting almost two lakh drivers on a daily basis, ensuring their end-to-end financial protection. The partnership aims to bring healthcare to the palms of lakhs of drivers, a community at high risk that is always on the move and needs instant care.
