New Delhi (India), March 23: Yamuna Sree, a professional makeup artist from Hyderabad, and also a BBA graduate with an undying love for makeup.
As a little girl, Yamuna was always fascinated by the power of makeup to transform a person’s appearance and boost confidence.
Apart from that, she was always drawn to the magic of movies and how they transport us to other worlds and experiences. She was captivated by the incredible makeup and hair designs that helped bring those stories to life and were always curious about how they were created.
Fast forward to today, she’s turned that curiosity into a successful career as a makeup artist in the movie industry and is working with a corporate company now.
With years of experience in the industry and having worked with brands like mama earth, MyGlamm, St. Botanica by Kareena Kapoor, Sirona and many others, she has honed her skills and techniques to create stunning looks for any occasion.
She is constantly pushing herself to learn and grow as an artist, experimenting with new techniques and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry. She believes that makeup is a powerful tool for storytelling and she is honored to play a part in bringing movies to life through the art of makeup.
When asked about what she loves about her job, she said- “As a makeup artist, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Each face is unique, and that’s what makes my job so exciting. I love the challenge of creating a look that enhances my client’s features and personality, and I’m always up for trying new techniques and experimenting with different products.
One of the things I love most about being a makeup artist is the opportunity to connect with my clients on a personal level. Makeup is not just about looking good, it’s about feeling good, and I believe that the key to a successful makeup look is making sure my clients feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.”
She also believes that makeup is a form of self-expression and creativity, and is always looking for new ways to push the boundaries and explore different styles and trends. Whether it’s a classic glam look or a no-makeup makeup look, she’s always up for a challenge and eager to bring my client’s vision to life.
Yamuna has just signed a Tamil movie under the direction of Ganesh Bharthi and another Kannada movie for Sam Okkutty.
