Eight years ago, Counsel India began its mission to make a positive social impact by raising awareness about emotional well-being. Initially focused on empowering individuals in universities and villages, they later expanded their efforts and reach by offering psychology learning programs to everyone across the world. This led to the establishment of Counsel India as India’s first ed-tech platform for psychology education.

Counsel India proudly celebrates its remarkable milestones on its 8th Foundation Day. To mark the occasion, the team visited old age homes and NGOs, intending to create a social impact by gifting them essential goods and ration supplies. As they reflect on their 8-year journey of empowering lives, this act of kindness is an important reminder of the values that drive them forward, instilling hope and happiness in many hearts.

Until today, they have impacted countless individuals. Their commitment to excellence is evident in the satisfaction of over 150,000 happy learners and the ripple effect across 22+ countries. Recognized with over 20 awards and accreditations, they are not only shaping careers but also changing lives globally.

The groundbreaking turn in Counsel India’s journey was when Bobby Thakur, Founder & Executive Chairman of Counsel India, met Shivam Dixit, Co-founder & CEO of Counsel India, at a spiritual conference. It was at this encounter that they discovered their shared values and a mutual vision for enhancing the quality of life for everyone. Mr. Dixit joined Counsel India in 2019. His entry has played a pivotal role in shaping Counsel India’s growth trajectory.

Since then, along with their team, they have made Counsel India synonymous with accessible, high-quality education in the field of psychology and counseling. Yet, beyond the numbers lies their real purpose: to simplify complex concepts and facilitate personal growth for their learners.

On this occasion, Mr. Shivam Dixit, Co-founder & CEO, said:

“Each member of our team brings unique talents and perspectives, contributing to our collective mission of empowering learners worldwide. Over the past 8 years, our team has had incredibly hardworking individuals. It is the strength of our people that propels us forward. Together, we remain unwavering in our vision to simplify emotional well-being for individuals across the world.”

They have many learners’ favorite programs. Their flagship programs, such as the PG Diploma in Counseling Psychology and Clinical Skills, have not only garnered praise but have also transformed countless lives. However, the journey didn’t stop there.

In a momentous stride forward, Counsel India joined hands with Medhavi Skills University, a UGC/NCVET-recognized institution. With this, they have ventured into specialized MBA programs in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Psychology, and Entrepreneurial Psychology.

On 11th December 2023, Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi appealed to every youth in this country to be part of the Viksit Baharat campaign. Viksit Bharat@2047 is the vision of the Government of India to make India a developed nation by 2047. The vision encompasses various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.

Counsel India is acting as an anchor in this collective mission by providing MBA programs in Psychology. With a rising demand for mental health professionals in India, these programs aim to contribute to the nation’s need for skilled psychologists and counselors.

They aim to make a big difference in India by bridging a crucial gap – the shortage of counselors. And as they continue to evolve and innovate, they remain committed to making a positive difference in the lives of their learners, one lesson at a time.
