New Delhi: INTO Giving, the philanthropic branch of INTO University Partnerships is once again offering INTO students a special chance to improve their employability through their summer internship program.
Throughout the years, INTO Giving had been providing internship opportunities to multiple students around the world in cities like San Francisco, London, Manchester and Brighton. Aiming to transform lives, raise the quality of education and broaden educational access, INTO started INTO Give to give back to society the right way.
Chris Walker, Head of INTO Giving, outlined the goal of the summer internship program this year by saying, “INTO Giving set out to achieve two things through our summer internship program. The first was to build student employability and student confidence in the workplace, so students are in a better position, once they graduate from university, to secure a job. At the same time, we also wanted students to have some fun and enjoy living in a city new to them over the summer. Life is more than work; it’s having about exploring, making friends, enjoying new environments.”
In 2022, Casita’s helped INTO Giving locate the ideal accommodation for its interns in London, Brighton, and San Francisco. INTO interns can now make use of Casita’s amazing array of accommodation options and knowledge for the second year in a row.
Chris Walker discussed how Casita helped INTO interns during the summer by saying, “This is where our partnership with Casita really started to shine. Casita secured safe, city-center housing for all our student interns, home bases from where the interns could travel to work only minutes away, where they could make friends or from where to go out and explore. We were lucky in this partnership, knowing we could rely on Casita to deliver, thus allowing INTO Giving to concentrate on the other aspects of the internships.”
“It made things easier and was nothing shy of instrumental in the program’s success. They were and are ever-personable, ever-knowledgeable. It’s no surprise we’re partnering with them for a second year and indefinitely hereafter.” added Walker.
Casita, an ed-tech company founded in 2016, is well known for its steady expansion as a marketplace that offers all varieties of student accommodation, including private lets, co-living, and shared housing options.
Leigh Pulford, the Chief Marketing Office and co-founder of Casita, commented on the partnership with INTO “Casita and INTO partner across the UK and USA to support INTO students with finding accommodation like student accommodation in Manchester, London, Sydney and many more. So when Chris asked if we could help their summer interns, we were delighted to be involved. Casita has committed to donate the funds received from these accommodation bookings back to INTO Giving to further support their interns in the future.”
To make it simple for students and counselors worldwide to access and reserve rooms, Casita has increased the availability of its student accommodation rooms. Students from all over the world can access local language assistance through its five customer service hubs in Thailand, Taiwan, India, Egypt, and Spain.
In 2020, Casita added more than 1 million additional rooms for students in more than 60 countries. Therefore, for the second year in a row, Casita and INTO Giving will team up in 2023 to give students the greatest possible accommodation while giving them a fantastic opportunity to improve their employability over the summer.
