New Delhi: State-owned heavy industries manufacturing giant Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has reported a net loss of Rs.455 crore in Q1FY26, a 116% increase from Rs.210 crore net loss in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s revenues have remained flat at Rs.5,487 crore in the quarter, a tad higher than the Rs. 5,485 crore reported last year. The company’s expenses have risen to Rs.6,280 crore, 7% higher than Rs.5,874 crore a year ago. Bengaluru: German technology major SAP inaugurated its second campus in Bengaluru- the 41-acre SAP Labs India Innovation Park- at Devanahalli, close to the International Airport, on Tuesday. The campus was inaugurated by Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah with State IT Minister Priyank Kharge, German Ambassador to India Phillip Ackermann, Sindhu Gangadharan, MD of SAP Labs India and other dignitaries present. This is SAP’s second campus in Bengaluru after its 22-acre Whitefield campus. New Delhi: Kaynes Circuits India, a subsidiary of Mysuru-based Kaynes Technology, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu for a proposed Rs.4.995 crore investment in advanced circuit manufacturing facilities in the state. According to sources close to the development, the investment would help generate 4,700 jobs in Thootukodi and the surrounding areas. New Delhi: Cigarette-to-FMCG major ITC Ltd reported a 20% year-on-year rise in revenue from Rs.17,593 crore in Q1FY25 to Rs.21,058 crore in the corresponding quarter this year. However, the company saw a muted growth in net profit, rising 2% from Rs.4.819 crore last year to Rs.4,912 crore this quarter. New Delhi: India’s leading power company Tata Power reported a 6% rise in net profit to Rs.1,262 crore in Q1FY26 from Rs.1,189 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
