New Delhi, September 17: Specialty chemicals and ethanol manufacturer Gulshan Polyols Limited has announced a ₹250 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) as it looks to strengthen its manufacturing capacity.
The capital raise is aimed at expanding its ethanol plant and overall manufacturing capacity to align with the increasing demand for Ethanol under the Ethanol blending program. By strengthening its production infrastructure, Gulshan Polyols aims to strengthen its market position and boost its operational efficiencies.
The announcements came after the 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) where the company has also announced a dividend of ₹1.50 per share, as a gesture of confidence in the company’s financial stability and its commitment to deliver consistent value to its shareholders.
This comes after Gulshan Polyols’ net profit increased to ₹53.51 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹13.17 crore during the same period last year.
These dual announcements highlight a balanced approach to corporate management—investing aggressively in future production capabilities while maintaining a shareholder-friendly distribution policy. As Gulshan Polyols embarks on this expansion phase, the infusion of capital is expected to provide the necessary impetus to complete its ongoing projects and explore new industrial opportunities.
