Kolkata, September 16: India’s leading storage battery manufacturer, Exide Industries Limited, has announced an agreement with Germany-based ExCom Energy Solutions GmbH. Under this agreement, ExCom will use its strengths and customer reach in the European Economic Area (EEA) to offer Exide India’s domestically manufactured advanced industrial battery solutions in the market. This would leverage ExCom’s established network and localized expertise to drive market penetration and brand visibility. Beyond this, ExCom will manage customer development, logistics, and comprehensive after-sales services, ensuring that European clients receive seamless technical support and maintenance.
For Exide, this agreement strengthens its overseas presence through a local partner that can navigate the complex regulatory and logistical landscape of the European market. With it, Exide aims to serve high-growth sectors like telecommunications, data centers, and renewable energy storage, where reliable energy solutions are in high demand.
