Galaxy S26 FE leak suggests Samsung will reuse previous camera hardware

New Delhi: In recent reports, it has been claimed that Samsung’s upcoming Fan Edition camera system has started circulating, offering us an early look at what the upcoming Fan Edition model might offer. Several reports claim that Galaxy S26 FE follows the same naming pattern as the S24 FE and S25 FE.

The main camera is likely to use a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 sensor; a similar one was found in the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S24 FE. It’s a 1/1.57-inch sensor with pixels. It has an f/1.8 aperture, a 24mm equivalent focal length, dual-pixel phase detection autofocus, and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The telephoto side relies on an 8MP OmniVision OV08A1 sensor that delivers 3x optical zoom, an f/2.4 aperture, PDAF, and OIS. However, two more 12MP sensors might be the Galaxy Core GC12A2 and the Sony IMX825. It is not officially confirmed which one is the ultra-wide and which is the front camera, but after looking at several recent Samsung devices, the IMX825 was used as the selfie camera in the Galaxy S25 FE, which is the more expected front sensor, while the GC12A2 was earlier seen on the Galaxy A37 and might handle the ultra-wide.

All cameras are going to support 4K video at 60fps, and the primary sensor also adds 8K recording at 30fps. Beyond the camera hardware, Samsung is also expected to offer an Exynos 2500 processor on a 3nm process, housed in a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging, and sporting a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

However, after seeing the leaks, it is expected that Samsung is sticking with the proven hardware and refining the performance instead of overhauling the camera system for the S26 FE. The dual-stabilized main and telephoto combo, solid video options, and upgraded internals.
