New Delhi: Recently, Redmi teased its upcoming flagship Redmi K100 series by confirming its first public appearance at ChinaJoy 2026 in Shanghai on July 31. Xiaomi hasn’t officially revealed this device’s name, and multiple other reports strongly indicate the teaser is for the Redmi K100 series.
In that teaser, Redmi stated its annual heavyweight flagship will be previewed at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon booth during ChinaJoy 2026. The teaser also includes the phrase Demon King Arrives with a nickname traditionally associated with the Redmi K-series performance phones.
It is rumored for August 2026, earlier than the K90 series, which debuted in October last year. Leaks also suggested that the lineup might include: Redmi K100, Redmi K100 Pro, and Redmi K100 Pro Max. Several reports suggest Redmi might initially debut only the Pro and Pro Max models, with the standard K100 arriving later.
It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with dual-chip architecture on Pro versions. It will have an 185Hz LTPO flat display with an improved 200MP main camera sensor.
On display, it will come with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. There will be a 50MP periscope telephoto camera sensor with telephoto macro photography. It might come with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It may have symmetrical stereo speakers with a premium metal frame and a glass back. There will be the latest horizontal camera module design inspired by recent flagship devices.
In terms of battery, it might have a bigger battery that should be above 8,000mAh. It is coupled with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. Redmi K-series traditionally aims at gamers, and the K100 is expected to continue that trend with dedicated graphics and display chips. It comes with a large X-axis vibration motor and a high-refresh-rate display. It also comes with an improved cooling system and a triple-speaker 2.1 audio system on the Pro Max.
