New Delhi: Lenovo has officially added another Snapdragon option to its business laptop by expanding its business laptop portfolio. ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Snapdragon Edition is currently available in some overseas markets, bringing Qualcomm’s latest ARM chips to the familiar ThinkPad platform.
This laptop gets a completely redesigned chassis. There are two options, including the Snapdragon X2 Plus and the Snapdragon X2 Elite, which is stronger. It comes with support for faster LPDDR5X-9600 memory up to 32GB and uses a compact M.2 2242 SSD for storage.
There are two 1920 x 1200 IPS screen options. One has a touchpad with 400nits and 45% NTSC color coverage, and the other is a non-touch variant that hits 500nits and covers the full 100% sRGB gamut. Both versions have a 60Hz refresh rate.
There is a 58Wh battery that powers the system, and it comes with Wi-Fi 7 for faster, more reliable wireless connections. ThinkPad T14s series has always been popular with business users. Switching to the Snapdragon X2 platform brings the usual ARM advantages with better efficiency, longer battery life, and a lightweight build.
By offering both the Plus and Elite versions of the X2 processor, the company covers different needs, from the straightforward office work to heavier multitasking.
