Adani Group Announces Fresh Investment Plans Across Infrastructure and Energy

New Delhi: Adani Group has announced a fresh phase of investments across infrastructure, energy, transportation, airports, and artificial intelligence (AI)-ready data centres, reinforcing its long-term growth plans in India. The company said it is entering a new investment cycle after recording one of the highest annual capital expenditures by any Indian corporate.

According to the group’s latest financial update, Adani invested nearly ₹1.53 lakh crore (around $16 billion) during FY26. Almost 80% of this investment went into core infrastructure sectors, including renewable energy, power transmission, ports, logistics, airports, and utilities. The group also reported a record EBITDA of ₹94,834 crore, reflecting steady operational growth despite large-scale investments.

Chairman Gautam Adani said the company is now focused on executing projects at scale rather than arranging funding. Several major projects have already become operational, including additional renewable energy capacity, battery energy storage systems, Navi Mumbai International Airport, and the Ganga Expressway. These projects are expected to contribute significantly to future earnings.

The Adani Group is also strengthening its AI infrastructure ambitions. Earlier this year, it announced plans to invest $100 billion by 2035 to develop renewable-energy-powered AI data centres across India. The initiative aims to expand AdaniConneX’s data centre capacity from 2 GW to 5 GW, supporting India’s growing demand for AI computing while creating a larger AI ecosystem worth an estimated $250 billion over the next decade.

In addition, Adani recently entered a strategic partnership with global manufacturing company Jabil to produce AI data centre hardware in India. The collaboration will focus on manufacturing AI racks, servers, cooling systems, and power equipment, supporting the government’s “Make in India” initiative.

Industry experts believe these investments will strengthen India’s infrastructure while creating thousands of skilled jobs. With strong focus areas including renewable energy, logistics, airports, and AI infrastructure, Adani Group continues positioning itself as one of India’s largest long-term infrastructure investors.
